Virginia Pistol Safety/ Concealed Carry Course

THIS IS A NRA CERTIFIED CLASS TAUGHT BY A CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR DESIGNED FOR VIRGINIA RESIDENTS TO RECEIVE A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT AS ALLOWED BY VIRGINIA CODE 18.2-308g (3).

Course Goal: To give participants the Information, Aptitude and Attitude to responsibly shoot, maintain, and carry a concealed handgun in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Upon completion of this class participants will have covered the following:

Basic Firearm Safety

• Basic Firearm knowledge including types of actions and trigger systems.
• How to properly shoot and handle a firearm.
• Handgun and Ammunition Selection Concealed Carry Concepts Responsible Use of Lethal Force and General overview of Concealed Carry Laws in Virginia.
